Participating in the weekly screening chat during our screening time (Tuesdays at 7.30pm or asynchronously afterwards on Teams if you need to) is the main source for extra credit. I’ve made a couple of additional extra credit discussion threads on Teams that reach beyond your individual sections, and you have the ability to create more. Chat beyond the weekly discussion assignments about media culture, about The Queen’s Gambit, Bridgerton, and Hikaru No Go, about the other screenings, or whatever seems relevant, all for up to 5% extra credit.
